2026 Cleveland State University Balanced Man Scholarship

Offered by Sigma Phi Epsilon Ohio Nu Chapter

About this scholarship

The 2026 Cleveland State University Balanced Man Scholarship distributes a total of $3,000 to male students who combine academic achievement, leadership, and attention to health and well-being. Graduating high-school seniors entering Cleveland State and current full-time CSU undergraduates may apply. The current program brochure requires at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA and states that applicants must be full-time degree-seeking CSU students when scholarships are awarded in the fall. Candidates may not be affiliated with another fraternity, but applying for or receiving the scholarship does not require joining Sigma Phi Epsilon. The campus-specific live form confirms the $3,000 pool and October 1, 2026 closing date. It collects expected graduation year, major or minor, GPA, testing history, leadership and community involvement, honors, awards, scholarships, and work experience. Cleveland State applicants also respond to prompts about how they fit the Balanced Man ideal and an achievement or impact on a team, school, family, or community that makes them proud. The form must be completed in one sitting because it offers no save-and-return option. This award is administered independently by the Cleveland State chapter, so applicants should use the direct Ohio Nu application rather than another university’s Balanced Man form.
